A pair of digital prints based on a press agency story dated 16 April 2008, the headline of which was “Cameraman Filmed the Shot of the Israeli Tank that Killed Him.“ Accompanying the story was a picture of the firing of the tank in question (indicated in the surrounding countryside by a circle) and the interrupted, final picture from the camera just after the shot hit its target. The pair of large-format prints is supplemented by 71 18 x 24 format photographs, based of a historic picture of Sudek’s studio by Josef Prošek, over- or underexposed so that they can be read as individual Morse code symbols.
