Series of functions, solved puzzles. The secret message is not made graphically prominent, and it is separated from the rest of the text only by the nature of the message, which may have the character of a banal conspiratorial dialogue (say bomb — bomb bomb) or a differing semantic character (transcription of a sound: pípípípípí, or repeated negation, the voiding of content: nenenenene...). In the installation Abbey Road 2:45 the crossword puzzle acts as a visual parallel to the soundtrack, a bootleg of all seventeen tracks of the Beatles album of the same name, played all at once at a faster or slower speed to match the average length of a song on the album in question.
